About Wilcan Motor Company Ltd

Neil and Malcolm were already fully qualified mechanics, having completed traditional apprenticeships elsewhere, and having worked in main dealerships before deciding to "go it alone" as a 2 man business in 1990, when Wilcan Motor Company was started.

The business has gone from strength to strength over the years and has expanded into larger premises in Alresford, where they now service and repair all makes of vehicle, and carry out full diagnostic and air conditioning servicing amongst other things. In August 2009 the business was incorperated and became Wilcan Motor Company Limited

Wilcan offers a friendly, value for money service and consequently have a loyal, long term customer base. The company grew when they employed Julian Sobey, a Peugeot trained mechanic and Andy Brown, Service Manager, plus Sam Devonshire - who came to Wilcan for work experience from school, and is now the Saturday boy.

The office is supported by Neil's wife Teresa and Malcolm's wife Karen, who do the day to day office administration and book-keeping.
